A: Much of what we are and what we do is controlled by our mindset. For instance, you may have got into the habit of having a big bowl of sweet popcorn every time you sit down to watch a movie. That is just a habit you have got into so that your body, or your ‘mind’ craves popcorn as soon as you think about watching a film. Another example would be – when we were babies and we were upset and crying, our mother would give us a bottle which would normally sooth us. As we got older, our ‘mindset’ would subconsciously have us reaching for food or drink to make us feel better. If we are going through a stressful time, you can see where this might lead to us eating the wrong thing, too often.
Q: I have tried lots of diets and go to the gym regularly. Why do you think this will work where diets and the gym have not?
A: Diets generally don’t work. I say generally, because they are used as a quick fix, like a 3 month diet. After the 3 months and some initial success, the weight goes back on, sometimes with interest. You could go to the gym 7 days a week and work really hard. But if you are not eating the right food, you won’t get the desired results. Q: Where do the personal training sessions take place?
A: Depending on the package you choose, an exclusive gym in the West End of London, or your Trainer will come to you, so you have no time wastage or travel costs.
Q: Will I need lots of space, or to buy extra equipment if my personal training sessions are at home?
A: No to both. We will use what space you have, don’t worry. Your Trainer can give you a fab workout with very little space if necessary. They will bring equipment if necessary. If you have your own you can opt to use that too. You could learn how to use your own kit properly!
Q: Is this open to both men and women?

Q: What happens if I have to cancel a session?
A: We run a 24 hour cancellation policy – if you need to make changes then please let us know 24 hours in advance and you will be offered another session within 24 hours of the cancelled one if mutually convenient. If that’s not possible then you will be given a home program to stay on track towards your Goals.
Q: What happens if I am ill?
A: If you have to cancel due to illness then please just phone or text and let your Trainer know asap. Remember, your Trainer cannot work with you if you are ill – even a heavy cold will constitute illness. You will be offered a booking within 24 hours assuming you have recovered enough. If this isn’t possible then you will be given a home program recommendations to keep you on track.
Q: How does the program work?
A: There are a series of steps to follow. The first step is to look at where you are now, where you were, and where you ideally want to get to. We need to investigate how you feel about yourself. Look at your lifestyle to see if we can change anything immediately, which will help in your journey to becoming the person you want to be. This also includes vital work on your mindset and this is one of the most important parts of the Program. We will then take you back to when you were happiest. We do this to start putting some positives back into your mindset. We will then look at your ultimate goal. Be it weight loss, more energy, or just ‘loving yourself’ again.
Step 2 is a close look at your nutrition. Again, diets alone don’t work, but if you have a habit of snacking on sugary foods and drinking too much alcohol, we need to change that habit.
Step 3 is your own personalised Exercise Routine. Depending on which package you choose, you will work either one on one with a trainer, or have a program written for you.
